Notes Arthur Breens was the son of John Breens and Elizabeth Morley. His siblings were Edwin, Emily, Walter, Herbert and half sister Elizabeth Laffane.
1881 Census - Doctor Barnardos Home, Teighmore, Grouville, Jersey, Channel Islands, was opened in 1879 as a home for delicate boys, at the time of the 1881 census there were 79 boys residing there from aged 5 to 16. BREENS, Arthur age 8 was one of these boys.
He left Liverpool, England on the ship Peruvian and arrived July 25 1885 at Quebec Canada. He was at this time age 13.
