On 17th September 1925, Alfred T Bridger, 14, departed for Australia one of 40 'Barnardo Boys' sent to Sydney, New South Wales (NSW) aboard SS Benalla, arriving Nov 1925. Previous address given as Dr Barnardo's Homes,18/26 Stepney Causeway, E.1 Likely brother of John BRIDGER, sent to Western Australia in 1927 as part of the Fairbridge scheme.

Alfred died 29 Nov 1994
