In 1911, Frances Brightmore, 14 (along with sister, Rosella Brightmore, 13) arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 120 Barnardo girls en route to Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

On April 12 1922, Frances Brightmore, 25, born England, daughter of Harry Brightmore and Rosetta Allen, married William Stowar, 32, son of Thomas Stowar and Emily Annie Parker, in Toronto, York, Ontario.

On May 30 1958, Frances Stowar, 61, widow, arrived back in England on SS Carinthia, she was heading to 71 Hunsley St, Grimesthorpe, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.
