NotesBernard Bromell's life was lost as we did not know he was part of the Child Migrants until after his cousin died. Bernard is my fathers great uncle. As doing research - I asked about information on Bernard - and then put a message on rootsweb. Below is the information I found out from his daughter, Gladys - who is nearly 80.

Bernard was bought up in an orphanage, sent to Canada at three, learnt French, was brought home again to England by some wealthy aunt and came out to NZ as a young man and went farming. He was an orphan and they of course are difficult to track down. He went to a boy's school where many of them became priests.
