Notes In 1887, Harry Buckler, 11, arrived in Canada in a group of 38 Middlemore children accompanied by Mr. John T. Middlemore and en route to the Guthrie Home, London, Ontario, Canada.

Harry Buckler, aged 11. From Wolverhampton Union. Placed with Isaac Miller, Lot 31, Con. 1, Tp. Tuckersmitb, Seaforth P.O., Ont.? Healthy generally. This lad was taken to bring up as one of the family (they have no children); goes to school, church, and Sunday school. The boy is good and happy, and has got a capital home."
