NotesMaurice was one of four children of Thomas and Ethel – Sidney John Thomas 1912, Margery J 1913, Maurice Stanley 1915, Arthur Robert 1920. Likely death for father Thomas in West Ham in 1920, aged 46. Maurice and his brother Arthur arrived in Western Australia together in 1924, while eldest Sidney arrived aboard Bendigo in 1928. Maurice was next of kin on Sidney's WWII enlistment.

Vera died in 2003 and is buried at Serpentine Cemetery, WA.
