Notes In 1901, Mary Burrell, 29, husband R, 29 and daughters Charlotte, Mary, Annie and Maria were residing in Southwark, London, (young Richard was missing)
Between 1901 and 1908, Mary Burrell and her children Charlotte, Mary, Richard, Annie and Maria were admitted on various occasions to the Princes Road workhouse as father Richard was serving time for theft.
On 23 January 1902, Richard Burrell was admitted to Renfrew Road Workhouse with his siblings Charlotte aged 10, Mary aged 8, Annie aged 4 and Maria aged 2, they were originally in Princes Road Workhouse. All are recorded as being transferred to Norwood Schools the same day.
On March 26 1902, Richard Burrell was admitted to Norwood Schools from Lambeth Workhouse when he was discharged on 19 June 1905 to 50 Grove Hospital
July 19th 1905, Richard Burrell was readmitted from the Schools Infirmary until 26 June 1906 when he went back to the Infirmary.
According to the Creed Register, On August 4 1906, Richard Burrell was re-admitted to Norwood Schools from the School Infirmary, he was discharged on 3 June 1908 to Dr Barnardo Homes for Canada
On 3 August 1921, Richard George Burrell, 25, son of Richard Burrell and Mary Ann Snolls, born England, married Gwendoline Annie Evans Davis in Niagara Falls, Welland, Ont
