"Copy of Reports of Inspection of Pauper Children sent out to Canada made by Immigration Officers of the Dominion Government and received from the Colonial Office on the 12th December 1888.

Report of Mr. John A. Donaldson, Government Immigration Agent at Toronto.

Charles Carey, aged 13. From Whitechapel Union. Placed at St. Nicholas Institute, Toronto. Working at Christie, Brown, and Co.'s Biscuit Works. Very well spoken of. Boards at the Institute."
