Their father, William Carpenter, had deserted them. Their mother, Emily, was in Renfrew Road Workhouse.
Frederick, Victor, and Rose Carpenter were all discharged to their father, who was residing at 4 Henton Road, Loughborough, on October 11, 1901.
William Carpenter was discharged to Barnardo's Home on June 12, 1901.
