NotesI have a document with the letterhead of Dr. Barnardo's, Tanners Lane, Barkingside, Ilford, Essex.
It is dated April 23, 1969.
It states that according to the records of the former Annie McPherson Homes, Alfred Cavey was born on the 31st January 1904. Place of birth is not stated.No names given for either parent. Alfred Cavey was emigrated to Canada through the Annie McPherson Homes by the s.s. "Virginian" arriveing in Canada on the 20th of May 1914. Port of entry not stated.
