NotesIn 1891, Farmer? Davis, 38, and Thomas Freeman, 60, visitor, Frank Clarence, 3, nephew, Kate Clarence, 1, niece, in Hanwell, Middlesex

The name in the 1891 census is actually "Fanny Davis". She was the children's great-aunt. Thomas Freeman was her brother, and thus the children's great uncle.

We have been unable to trace the whereabouts of Frank & Kate's parents at this time and they are presumed dead. According to Frank's birth record his parents were: William Calvert Clarence and Ada Mary Phillips. Ada was a niece of Fanny Davis.

On December 16 1908, Frank Hamilton Clarence, 21, son of George Clarence and mother unknown, married Mabel Dunham, 18, in Wellington Co, Ontario
