NotesIn 1922, H. Claridge, 11, arrived at Fremantle, Australia, in a group of 18 children from the Child Emigration Society, 115, The Strand, London, England. He was placed in Haig Cottage with his two brothers at Fairbridge Farm School, Pinjarra, Australia.

Horace Claridge died February 9, 1932, aged 20 years (just prior to his 21st birthday) at Fairbridge Farm School, Pinjarra, Australia. He is buried at Fairbridge Cemetery. The cemetery is located a couple of kilometres past the farm and beyond the second gravel pit. Containing some 24 graves, this is a very secluded and peaceful resting place. The cemetery is well tended.
