Lizzie was sent to a farm family in the Orangeville, Ontario area. This family treated her badly.
Another farm family rescued her. Richard and Maggie Langford just took her home, and this family treated her well.
In 1901, E. C. Collinson, 16, was shown as a servant to R. and Maggie Langford of Cardwell, Ontario, Canada. Her date of birth is shown as April 6 1885 and her immigration year as 1895.
In 1911, Elizabeth Collinson, 26, was shown as a servant to Richard and Margaret Langford of Dufferin, Ontario, Canada. Her date of birth is shown as April 1885 and her immigration year as 1894.
Lizzie Collinson never married and has no descendants.
