Notes"Alex Cowling was my grandfather. His full name was Alexander Cornelius Cowling. He married Phoebe Rimmer. They had two children - Mary Alexandra Cowling (my mother) and Roy Cowling. He died in 1966 and his birthday was August 26. He lived after he was married to my grandmother in Downsview Ontario.

I know he had one sister who was also in Canada - her name was Lily. And I believe he had at least one brother."
