NotesRobert was shipped to Canada with his brother James in 1912, he would have been 15 years old. He was sent to work on a farm, location unknown.

In 1915 he enlisted with the CEF 87th Battalion and was shipped to France in 1916. He was killed in 1918 just before the end of the war. He was awared the Canadian Military Medal.

While he was sailing the France in 1916 his sisted Jean/Jane Creighton was sailing to Canada to get married. They never met.
