NotesOn 22 Jan 1898, George Darbon married Fanny Bird nee Woodall at Staines

On September 11 1904, Violet Lily Darbon, baptised at Saint Dunstan With Saint Catherine, Feltham
daughter of George and Fanny, of Feltham, 'Labourer'

She had a sibling Alexandra May also baptised September 11 1904,

her fathers WW1 Military papers showed there were 6 children born to the marriage

4 Feb 1917

On October 3 1920, Violet Lily Darbon, 16, arrived in Canada, she declared she intended to take up domestic work
she was born in Middlesex, her passage was paid by Dr Barnardo Homes, she was going to
Mrs Hobday, Dr Barnardo Homes, Peter St, Toronto,
her next of kin was her father Lt Capt G Darbon, 796470, 182 Labour Company, No 1 area, Boisy Notre Dame, France
