NotesMary Ellen Dobb was born in Wigan Lancashire in 1865. She was the daughter of William Dobb and Eliza Daniels. Mary Ellen lived in Ormskirk, Lancashire, England and had 6 children before marrying Thomas Aspinall in 1895. She had 4 sons with Thomas. Mary Ellen Dobb Aspinall died in 1915. Two of her sons came to Canada as BHC. James Makinson Dobb born 1888 and Ernest William Blundell born 1889. The rest of the children remained in England. (Information provided by DFKBurr - unverified)

It was reported in the November 1903 edition of Ups and Downs that James Mackinson Dobb had been placed with Mr Elijah Wheeler of Moore, Ontario.
