Notes[POSSIBLE MATCH] A birth registration was found for Thomas Dorsey: Year of Registration: 1899; Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep; District: Birmingham (1837-1924); County: Warwickshire; Volume: 6d; Page: 89. Parents: Thomas Dorsey and Elizabeth Perry, married 1897, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.

In 1911, Thomas Dorsey, 11 (along with brother, Joseph Dorsey, 8), arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, in a group of 205 Barnardo boys en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

In June, 1923, Thomas Dorsey, 23, Polisher, crossed from the United States into Canada through the port of Niagara Falls, New York. He declared that he resided in St. Catherine, Ontario, Canada; that his contact in Canada was his father [sic], Joseph Dorsey, who resided at 49 Elgin St, Hamilton, Ontario. He was described as 5 foot 11 inches in height; medium complexion; brown hair; blue eyes. He was born in Birmingham, England.

On November 1, 1923, at Grimsby, Welland, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Thomas Dorsey, 24, buffer, born in Birmingham, England to Thomas Dorsey and Elizabeth Perry; and Lottie Harriett Shoultz, 20, stenographer, born in Fonthill, Ontario, Canada, to Harlen Peter Shoultz and Laura E. Kew.
