Alfred Thomas Driver died on December 28, 1908.
In 1913, Violet Driver, 9, arrived at Quebec, Canada, along with a group of 119 girl domestics accompanied by matron, Mrs Lloyd, en route to Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. (Her brother William Driver, had previously arrived in Canada with Barnardos in 1910 at the age of 8.)
