NotesIn 1886, William Fabian, 13, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 71 children from the Liverpool Catholic Children's Protection Society, accompanied by a Mrs. Lacy and en route to Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

"Sixteenth Annual Report of the Local Government Board, 1886-87; Copy of Reports of Inspection of Children sent out to Canada, as of February 12, 1887.

Report of Mr. R. Mcpherson, Government Immigration Agent at Kingston, Ontario.

William Fabin, aged 13, from parish of Liverpool, placed with Michael Egan, Kingston P.O., lot 4, B.F., Perth Road. Good boy, no fault, not attending school, pleased with his home which is of small pretensions, was in 4th standard."

[POSSIBLE MATCH] On October 27, 1930, at Victoria Terrace, Montreal Street, Kingston, Frontenac, Ontario, Canada, William Egan, 50, unmarried, tailor, died of carcinoma of the liver. He had no relatives in the country. He was buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, 496 Colborn Street, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
