Ernest Fall was admitted to Norwood School, Lambeth Union on June 12, 1901. Mother Alice Fall, address unknown. Grandmother M. A. Fall lived at 114 Sancroft Street, Vaxhall in whose charge the child was left by mother. Ernest Fall was discharged to Barnardo's Home on the same day.

He has a splendid home and is getting along very well. He is a rather a fine, intelligent looking boy and very agreeable-inclined to be short sighted. They find him willing and reliable.
