Notesa birth of a Basil S Farrow was registered in Jan Qtr of 1911 in Blything, Suffolk.

This is my uncle Basil. He is my mother's brother. His father was George Grout Farrow (1870 - 1915) and his mother Agnes Emma (nee Dunn)(1882 - 1917). Following his father's death his mother remarried (becoming a Barnard) and had 2 children by that marriage.
Siblings: George Ronald (1908); Elsie Hilda (1909 - 1974) ( my mother); Rose Muriel (1913) and Bertie Frederick (1914)( Bertie also was a home child emigrating in 1930 from Barnado's).
Half-siblings: Dorothy Gladys Dunn (1901); Vera Barnard (1916) and Charles Barnard (1917).
His mother died following the birth of Charles and this was when he and 3 of his siblings were admitted to Dr Barnado's. For some unknown reason my mother wasn't.
I have been in touch with Barnado's and because I can not prove he is deceased nor that I am a direct descendant (if he were deceased) they will only supply me4 with limited information. Barnardo's tell me that his last known address was in February 1939 living in Shelburne Ontario.
