About 14 years of age, good situation, employed at general chores, good health, attends Roman Catholic Church,
character-bad tempered and unmanageable. Terms-$1 per month. Ferguson does not appear to have done very well, although he had a good chance, as he was placed with one of the most substantial farmers in the parish. A short time previous to this date in a fit of temper he deliberately damaged a buggy. This was rather too much for Mr Monaghan and he brought him back to the Home. He is at present with Mr Washington, the Societys Agent.

December 29 1902

Ferguson informs me that the damage to the buggy was wholly accidental. As he is a stout healthy youth, he should do well.
