Their father left the house on 30 November 1903
and was noted as 'Absent from ?'.
On 19 January 1904, William Reed Fern, 43, was re-admitted to the workhouse, he left on 16 April 1904 'On leave without children'
On July 30 1903, Elizabeth Reed Fern, 8, Ellen Reed Fern, 6, and William Reed Fern, 12, admitted from Workhouse to ?, Elizabeth and William were sent on 26 October 1903 to Ashford while Ellen went there on October 6
On September 3 1903, Lucy, 8, was admitted from the Infirmary, and proceeded to Ashford on October 6 1903
On April 14 1905, William, Lucy, Elizth, were re-admitted from WLD, and went to Ashford on 22 April 1905.
On May 22 1911, Lucy Emma Fern, 18, daughter of William Fern and Anna Halton, married Aubrey Chester Sovereign, 18, son of John Sovereign and Mary Matthews in Waterford, Norfolk, Ontario
In November 1914, Aubrey Sovereign, 21, Gardener, wife Lucy, 22, and children Rena, 3, and Lucy, 1, crossed into America through Buffalo, NY. They last lived in Simcoe, and their Canadian contact was Aubrey's sister, Mrs Ernest McKeown?, Waterford, Ontario, Canada, they were heading to Aubrey's father: John Sovereign, Coldwater, New York
