NotesJohn was one of 17 children, the final batch for 1931, who sailed from London to Fremantle by the ‘Ballarat’ to Fairbridge Farm School, Pinjarra, Western Australia. He was 13 years old.

John died in 1973 aged 55 and is interred at Karrakatta Cemetery, Anglican PD555 with wife Daisy who died 25 Apr 1993 aged 71.
