with Mrs James Blundell, P.O St Catherine's, Lot 1, Con.11, Louth Twp, Ontario
July 5 1900
Age 14, advantageous home, employed as domestic servant, health-has been bothered with sore feet, but is not so troubled now.
She says she has a slight touch of catarrh, attends Methodist church not school, possesses fair elementary education. Good character. Terms-Board and Clothes at present. Mrs Blundell states that the girl is inclined to be careless with her work, and although not giving entire satisfaction she intends to try and keep her, she thinks that she will improve as she grows older. The girl is of bright appearance, receives good treatment from her mistress, has a good supply of clothing, is contented and has no reason to complain

Age 15, fair situation, employed at general housework and some outside work I judge, healthy, attends Methodist Church, well behaved, terms-no wages. This girl has had a number of places since coming to Canada. She has been here over a year, however
I think she does her full share of the work, and perhaps a little more. Were it not that she has already had several better places, none which she was able to keep I would suggest that she be found another situation. She is contented.
