Notes In 1901, Henry Gazzard, 9, foster son, with George and Emily Moreton in Bristol, Gloucestershire
Henry came from the Bristol Union in Gloucestershire. Henry lost his life by drowning in New Brunswick, Canada. In July of 1907 he had asked for permission to go fishing and set off about 8 am. On his way home he stopped at the house of a Mr. Whitfield Colpitts, Mill Pond where he met up with another chap by the name of Ralph Powell. They had started to play on a raft when Henry fell into the water. Despite the rescue attempts of both Ralph Powell and Mr. Colpitts Henry perished.
