NotesIn 1928, Alfred Gilliland, 11 (along with brothers, William Gilliland, 9, and Henry J. Gilliland, 14), arrived at Fremantle, Australia, in a group of 34 children from the Child Emigration Society, 115 The Strand, London, England. He was placed in Haig Cottage with his two brothers at Fairbridge Farm School, Pinjarra, Australia.

Alfred Cole GILLILAND died in 1974 aged 57. He is interred at Karrakatta Cemetery (Anglican, PD536).
