Notes In 1901, Selina Haines, 13, pauper, in Bromsgrove Union Workhouse, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire
Sent by Bromsgrove Union
with Mrs Fred G Perry, Oakham, Queens, NB
August 7 1902
Age 14, satisfactorily placed, employed as general servant, good health, attends Baptist Church, willing and obedient,
Terms-$1 per month and clothing. Selina Haines is a less capable girl than Mrs Perry expected, yet she seems inclined to give her a fair opportunity to learn. She thinks that under the circumstances, even $1 per month wages is more than she should be paid. The girl is well dressed and quite contented here.
