NotesA birth registration was found for Elizabeth Scott Halden: Date: January 14, 1878, 6 a.m.; Place: 11 Morrison Street, Govan, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland; Parents: James Halden, riveter (journeyman) and Jane Leslie, married March 5, 1875, 5th District of Govan Church.

In 1888, Elizabeth Halden, 10, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 110 Quarrier children accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Quarrier and en route to Brockville, Ontario, Canada.

On June 9, 1888, at Brockville, Leeds, Ontario, Canada, Elizabeth Halden, 10 years 5 months, died of septicemia.

Lizzie Halden is buried at The Brockville Cemetery Est. 1861 aka The Old Protestant Cemetery, Highway 2, West of Brockville, Leeds, Ontario, Canada. A stone was "erected by the Fairknowe Scotch boys and girls in loving memory of their departed companions."
