Notes In 1887, Elizabeth Hazeldine, 11, arrived in Canada in a group of 38 Middlemore children accompanied by Mr. John T. Middlemore and en route to the Guthrie Home, London, Ontario, Canada.

Elizabeth Hazeldine, aged 12. From Wolverhampton Union. Formerly with Jno. Siddons, now Mrs. Geo. D. Sutherland, Customs Dep., London, Ont.?Has only been a short time here; she can read and write; a strong healthy girl; goes to Sunday school. This is a first class home, if the girl suits, and will be permanent."
