NotesLeonard was one of 23 children aged 8 to 13 who arrived in Fremantle, Western Australia from Southampton aboard 'Jervis Bay' in February 1934, bound for Fairbridge Farm School, Pinjarra. He was 10 years old.

He served as a trooper in the Australia Army in WWII (Source: NAA RecordSearch):
