In 1911, Winifred Hickey, 6, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 42 Louisa Birt children en route to Knowlton, Quebec, Canada.

On August 18, 1925, at Belleville, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Winnifred Margaret Hickey, 20, stenographer, born in London, England, to George Hickey and Elizabeth Wooley; and Charles James Akey, 30, farmer, born Deseronto, Ontario, Canada, to George Akey and Sarah J. Kennedy.

Charles James Akey died about 1973. Winnifred then married Stanley Karl Jackson on June 29, 1985. Stanley died on March 22, 1990.

Winnifred Margaret Hickey Akey died June 20, 2002 in the Lenadco Home for the Aged, Napanee, Lennox & Addington, Ontario, Canada. She is buried in Deseronto Cemetery, Deseronto, Lennox & Addington, Ontario, Canada.
