In 1913, Albert Hocquard, 11, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 119 Fegan boys en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

On April 12 1919, mother Caroline remarried Fred Nutland at the Registry Office, Devizes, Wiltshire, England.

On December 20, 1929, Albert J. Hocquard, 28, farmer, returned to the United Kingdom on the ship Montcalm. His intended address in the UK ws Sheep Street, Devizes, Wiltshire, England. He intended to return to Canada.

Albert James Hocquard married Mary Agnes Himpfen Gordon, widow (of Richard David Gordon), (born April 23, 1890 in West Ham, Essex, England to Joseph Himpfen and Margaretta Bleser) in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada.

Mary Agnes Himfen Hocquard died on October 13, 1968, at Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Albert James Hocquard married Mary Agnes Gordon (nee Himpfen) sometime during 1943. Albert James loved to farm and in the mid-1950s, he and Mary Agnes bought a small piece of land northwest of Toronto with a small cottage upon it. They spent summers there and tilled the land and grew vegetables. His wife grew flowers. Mary Agnes Hocquard died of pneumonia in October 1968. Albert James was devastated and became sad and lonely. It was after this time he returned home to England without bidding farewell to his wife's family.
