Age 14, Upon calling here today I found this girl had been returned to the societys headquarters on the 1st of May last. They did not appear to have been able to manage her.

After remaining at the home for a short time, she was placed with Mrs Baxter, shopkeeper, Hintonburgh but she did not fit her situation satisfactorily, and was again returned to the Home where I saw her today. She is a bright healthy looking girl, and is temporarily engaged at general housework here,
