NotesSailed on Arawa from Bristol, destination Peterborough, Ontario. Her sister Daisy was also sent to Canada in 1900. They had 3 brothers and a sister still in England. Their parents were also still alive.

Daisy and her sister, Maud Hotson, were referenced in the July 1901 edition of the Dr Barnardo newsletter 'Ups and Downs'

'Maud and Daisy Hotson did not come out in the same party, but arrangements were made for them to spend an hour or two together recently and the dear children had a good time renewing the old home love'

Maud married Samuel Gilmore Todd on 16th Jan 1906 in York County, Toronto. They had no children. She is buried in the Todd family plot in The Necropolis Cemetery, Toronto.
