Age 16, good home, employed at farm work generally, health good, no sickness since arrival, church and school attendance, Roman Catholic Church, Huntley, character fair-inclined to be morose, terms board, lodging and clothing. The boy prefers life in England to that in Canada, although he makes no specific complaint or objection. The accounts given by Mrs Grace and John Mehan are not very satisfactory, they did not get along with Keating, Patrick Mehan however thinks that the boy although slow at present will turn out better than at first expected. The lad inclines to stubborness if at all forced
