Frederick A Kersey - letter, came Spring Party in April
In 2002 Fred was interviewed by a Barnardo Home After Care Worker in Canada. This interview was published in the Barnardo Guild Magazine:
"Fred Kersey was sent to Canada at the age of 15. He has lived a very full life in Canada and his wife proudly told Kate (the After Care Worker) that he has always worked hard for his family. Partially paralyzed by a stroke 17 years ago, Fred is, nevertheless, a strong and independent man. By amazing coincidence, Kate's brother in law works at the same nursing home where Fred lives."
