In 1894, John Kincaid, 9 (along with brother, Alex Kincaid, 11), arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, in a group of 139 Quarrier children en route to Brockville, Ontario, Canada.

On October 14, 1908, at Ross, Renfrew, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between John Connell Kincade, 24, laborer, born in Scotland to Hugh Kincade and Mary Connell; and Phoebe Elizabeth Logan, 21, born in Ross, Renfrew, Ontario, Canada, to James Logan and Margaret McCulloch.

John and Phoebe Elizabeth Logan Kincade had at least 2 children: Ida May Kincade, born about 1909; and Hugh Kincade, born about 1910.

Phoebe Elizabeth Logan Kincade died at Iroquois Falls, Ontario, Canada, on December 16, 1920, at the age of 32, of tuberculosis of the lungs. She was buried at Cobden, Ontario, Canada.
