In 1894, Alex Kincaid, 11 (along with brother, John Kincaid, 9), arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, in a group of 139 Quarrier children en route to Brockville, Ontario, Canada.

On November 17, 1905, Alex'r Kincade, 22, laborer, returned to Canada on the ship Lake Manitoba, after a stay in Lanarkshire, Scotland.
