Notes Sent by Middlesbrough Union, placed with Albert E Oliver, farmer, Balsam Lake, Victoria, Ontario
June 10 1902
Age 12, under existing circumstances his home is undesirable, employed doing houswork, cooking & c, healthy, attends Methodist Church, no schooling, character good, terms-Board and Clothing. From information I have every reason for believing that this boy is well treated. His appearance is very satisfactory. He is rather young for his present place as Mr Oliver is an unmarried man and keeps bachelors quarters
