NotesIn 1887, William Langley, 14, arrived with three other "lads from Maidenhead Farm, Cookham Union, England" in a party of 57 persons from Church Emigration Society Group, 9, Victoria Chambers, Westminster, London, and en route to Rev. Sterne Light at Lansdowne, Ontario, Canada.

"Copy of Reports of Inspection of Pauper Children sent out to Canada made by Immigration Officers of the Dominion Government and received from the Colonial Office on the 12th December 1888.

Report of Mr. R. Mcpherson, Government Immigration Agent at Kingston.

William Langley, aged 14. From Cookham Union. Placed with Rev. S. Tighe, Lansdowne Village, Co. of Leeds.?Remained one month, found him a good lad in every way, transferred to J. J. Mcintosh of Mcintosh Mills P.O., where he will have good home."
