Emma Leadbeater, aged 11, from parish of Stoke-upon-Trent, placed with Miss Rye's Home, Niagara, Ontario. Transferred from George McCormick Hill, Weston, and adopted by Andrew Ross, farmer, lot 11, Con. 6, South Dover, Chatham, she is a good child and attends day and Sunday school and church. The Ross's are well off, and having no children of their own, will leave the property to her and an adopted boy."
