He stated on landing that he had been a turner in England and would be pursuing farming; and that his contact in England was his father, Mr. J. Littler, who resided at 75, Abindon, Derby, England.
On September 20, 1932, John Littler, 21, entered the United States through the port of Buffalo, New York. He declared that he was born in Derby, England; that he was a farm hand; that he resided at R.R. #3, Silver Hill, Ontario, Canada; that his contact in Canada was his friend Reuben Covington, who resided at R.R. #3, Silver Hill, Ontario, Canada; that he intended to visit Buffalo, New York, for one day; and that he had immigrated in June, 1929 on the ship Laurentic.
On September 24, 1938, at Delhi, St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between John Philip Littler, son of J. P. Littler; and Miss Daisy Geraldine Quance, daughter of Richard Awrey Quance and Daisy Lisette LaFortune.
John Philip and Daisy Geraldine Quance Littler had four children: Richard James Littler; Elizabeth Jean Littler; John Philip Littler; and Robert Thomas Littler.
John Philip Littler died March 14, 1991, at London, Middlesex, Canada. Daisy Geraldine Quance Littler died January 23, 2000, in Delta, British Columbia, Canada.
