Notes Arthur's unmarried mother, Emma Lucock, was admitted to the Lambeth Infirmary in 1888. She had been residing on Kennington Road, London SE, when she was admitted. His aunt, Harriet Dalimore, resided at 21 Newbut.
Arthur was put into the Norwood School, Lambeth Union, on May 1, 1888. He was boarded out from March 25, 1893 through November 2, 1893, when he was readmitted to Norwood School. He was discharged to Barnardo Homes on August 1, 1900.
In 1900, Arthur Lacock, 14, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 101 Barnardo boys en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Age 16, satisfactorily placed, he is a stout lad and is said to be quite a help on the farm. He is healthy and thoroughly contented with his situation. He is not a particularly bright boy and they complain a little of his temper. Mr Srigley is a well to do industrious farmer.

In Ups & Downs, Vol X - No. 2 Toronto May, 1904, Arthur Lucock is shown as having donated $1.00 to Dr. Barnardos Homes.
