In 1887, John Mack, 10, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 96 children from Catholic Children Protection Society, Liverpool, England, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Lacy, and en route to Hotel Dieu, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

On May 19, 1919, at Dunnville, Haldimand, Ontario, Canada, John Henry Mack, 40, engineer, born in Liverpool, England, died of endocarditis and myocarditis, 4 - 5 years duration.
