with E W Evans, farmer, P.O Kingsey, Drummond, Quebec
About 15 years of age, good home, employed at light farm work, good health, attends Church of England, not school, character- truthful and honest, an intelligent boy, terms-$6 per month for six months from 1st May and board. Mr Evans speaks well of the boy, and Manton likes his work, and had no complaints to make. He has been well placed.

Age 17, having completed his engagement here on the 1st of November. Albert Maton left Mr Evans employ. Mr Evans is unable to give me any information as to his present whereabouts. He states he was a reliable young fellow and believes he will do well, and that he is quite capable of pushing his own way
