NotesOn 30 September 1902, Louis McEnery enlisted in the Army aged 18, his army papers show the following:

On 31 March 1906, Louis McEnery married Annie Lydia Lewis at Aston Register Office, Birmingham,

a birth of a May L McEnery was registered in Jul Qtr of 1910 in Aston

she was the first of three known children, Beatrice Annie born 6 April 1913 and Louis born 21.9.1915

birth indexes show that a fourth child was born to the couple named Albert in 1918

May Lilian McEnery, 18, housekeeper, spinster, presbytarian, of Predmont, Pictou, Nova Scotia, born Birmingham, England, daughter of Louis McEnery and Annie Lydia, married Arnold Stewart McDonald, 26, Farmer, in New Glasgow, Pictou, Nova Scotia

Arnold McDonald died on November 27th 1987, his obituary shows that his wife May was still alive, it was stated that he had two children living and two were deceased.
