*Note: I thought that Alfred’s parents might be Alfred Mercer and Elizabeth Mary Ann Hawkes. I ordered the birth certificate and Alred Thomas Mercer the son of Alfred and Elizabeth was born 03 August 1903 so I cannot say for sure that this is the BHC Alfred Mercer.
