NotesOn October 3 1900, Charles, born 26/08/1891, William born 23/09/1895, Jessie born 3/11/1898 and Lillie Moorhouse born 3/11/1898 entered the Lambeth Workhouse and from there Norwood Schools, they were in and out from then on until 16 July 1901

a further sibling Sidney was born in the Workhouse on 20 February 1905

Father dead, mother Rose in Renfrew Road Workhouse, children were discharged with mother on 19 October 1900

Children discharged from workhouse to mother, no address given (7 July 1901)

readmitted on 9 July 1901 - discharged 12 July 1901 no address

readmitted 15 July 1901 with sister Rose born 1900

Rose died in infirmary 30 November 1901

Jessie sent to Tooting Fever Hospital 20/1/1903 returned to schools on 7/03/1901, on 19 March 1904 she went to East Cliff House, Moongate, returned on 26 May 1904

Charles sent to Exmouth Training Ship on 16/03/1904

3 children were discharged with mother from Renfrew Road Workhouse on 11.2.1905 then readmitted

On January 29th 1912, Jessie, 13, and Lily Moorhouse, 13, were admitted to Norwood Schools from own home, 'Parents dead, brother Thomas, 10 Bognor St, New Road, Battersea,

On July 17 1912, Jessie Moorhouse, 13, discharged from Norwood Schools to Dr Barnardo Homes for Canada
